03Joining

Join the club

It is a members’ club. No shareholders, and no pub company setting the prices behind the bar, which is why they are what they are. Anybody can apply to join.

What membership gets you

  • Members’ prices at the bar.
  • Bars and rooms kept for members.
  • Members’ weekends, with the bar heavily discounted. Announced at the club.

How to join

  1. Fill in an application form at the club.
  2. It goes to the management team.
  3. They approve new members.

The club runs eight skittle sides, six men’s and two ladies’, and plays snooker on a Monday.

There is no darts side at the moment. The room and the boards are still there if anybody wants to start one.

Ask at the bar for whoever is running the side you fancy, or ring the club and we will put you in touch.

The club was formed in 1900 and has been part of the town ever since.
